Affordable On-Demand Mental Health Courses

What do these on-demand courses consist of?

The majority of my courses include a 15 to 35 min “video session,” plus handouts, readings, and prompts for reflection. The video sessions” are pre-recorded videos that I’ve created right from my office. I am talking to you as if I’m sitting right there with you, giving you education, support and compassion for what you might be feeling or struggling with. In addition to the pre-recorded video sessions, courses also have education via downloadable handouts and readings. You can re-visit and retake courses anytime once you’ve purchased, and you can keep all the downloadable audios and handouts forever. Courses called “toolkits” have downloadable audio’s instead of video sessions so that you have another “tool” for in the moment coping.

What kind of support do you need?

Why do I have online mental health and nutrition courses?

I want to make a small dent in the area of accessible mental health care. I understand that it’s vital to get therapy and nutrition support when you need it, yet, I also acknowledge that counseling is expensive, that waitlists for therapists are long, and unfortunately it’s a privilege to have access to counseling because of the way our healthcare system is set up. Please let me know if you are in need of a scholarship or payment plan for courses.

In order to reach more people who need support, I have produced a series of affordable online mental health “courses” on a number of mental health and nutrition topics. Every course includes either audio or video support from me, so that the person to person part isn’t completely taken out since we know that is a vital part of what makes counseling spaces healing.

Courses provide tools for help with…

  • Binge eating issues

  • Eating disorder recovery

  • Eating disorder treatment for teens

  • Anxiety, panic, and feeling overwhelmed

  • Scary or intrusive thoughts

  • Depression, low self worth, feeling like a failure

  • Education and research on health at every size (HAES)

  • Feeding your teenager

  • Eating disorder education (for professionals too!)

What does an “affordable” online course actually cost?

Most courses are between $15 and $35 each. And you can access the information anytime, and download all the handouts and audios. I have created a couple “bundles,” with the most expensive bundled course (2 courses in 1), costing $55.
